Trump Wants To Tell It Like It Is

Trump Wants To Tell It Like It Is

It’s time to shift gears. We have been enduring suffocating heat way too long, and it’s time for a change. We had a teaser cool front blow through, but way too little in the way of some cool air relief. We are approaching November with high temperatures still near 90 degrees! Give us a break!

If the heat has got you down, tune in as the presidential election mercifully comes to fruition. These are the best each political party could come up with? If it wasn’t such a serious situation, it would be comical.

It’s Trump versus Hillary, so pick your poison. Most voters are resigned to voting against one while casting their vote for the lessor of two evils. Like many other American voters — just grin and bear it.

Anyway, it makes for great entertainment and gives us something to gripe about at the water cooler. Just to fairly review each honorable candidate, here is a quick scouting report. Hillary is no stranger to the White House, having resided there when hubby Bill served. He was impeached for getting caught with his pants down in the White House and then lying about it. “That woman” Miss Lewinsky (he couldn’t remember her first name) was reviled and demeaned.

As Secretary of State, Hillary’s record speaks for itself. Four more years of failed policies during Obama’s reign is really more than this great country can survive.

Clinton, a career politician, hailing from the great state of Arkansas, can flat deliver a speech. She can work a crowd of dullards into a frenzy with catchy slogans such as “stronger together.” It is simple, catchy, and never fails to get a standing ovation.

If you haven’t read of the Whitewater debacle Hillary and Bill were involved in, check out the book. It’s something scary to imagine another Clinton could be our next president.

To be fair, Trump’s track record may also leave much to be desired. He thrives on putting his foot in his mouth, and will not tone down the rhetoric. Americans are nervous and, quite frankly, not used to a politician daring to speak the truth on any subject. Old Donald wants to tell it like it is, but it scares away voters by the precinct load. Donald is not a career politician, and it shows woefully.

He is way too blunt in our age of correct political demeanor. Many who have desired to get on the Trump train have finally stepped off after he has proven to be incapable of toning it down just a bit. A future president must develop his “presidential speak” that is always politically correct and never divisive. Donald does not get this and probably never will. It is mostly BS, but the American public loves it.

So, there you have it. Odds are Hillary will double down, having access to unlimited funds. Donald is no brown bagger, but pales in comparison to monies the Clinton Foundation is used to moving around. If money talks and BS walks, this country is in indeed in dire straits.

The only thing for sure is you have to get out and exercise your right to vote. Only registered voters can make a difference in the greatest place on planet earth to live.

There are only two choices left, so hold your nose and cast your vote.

God Bless America!
