Raja’s Curry Kitchen & Grill

I’ve become addicted to Raja’s; I try to go in for their buffet at least once a week. I’m not an expert on their style of food by any means. I’m not even sure of the names of most of the dishes. But once I get the gist what something is, I just give it a try.

I’m going to tell you about the things I’ve really enjoyed and hope you’ll want to give them a try. I’d never eaten the butter chicken before, but my friend Garrett told me it was great, and I agreed. Any curry dish in this place in the bomb.com; but the curry chicken is a must-have, I promise you.

raja2 There’s a basmati rice and chicken dish I don’t even know the name of. But I stack it on my plate every time because it’s so good. I’ve had lamb shanks two different ways at Raja’s; one was in a type of gravy and the other was in a broth. I hadn’t been too sure about the broth, but after eating it, I was sold.

The curry garbanzo beans are spicy and full of flavor. This is another dish I’d never heard of before, but I’m thrilled to have found out about it.

The hummus was not all silky smooth as it is in a lot of places. I kind of liked having it a different way; it was flavorful and went perfectly with the naan bread the servers bring to the table. The naan is evil for me because I love bread already and it loves adding to my belly. But I just can’t get enough of it, and I may need to see someone about this addiction. But until then, I’m going to keep enjoying it.

Keep in mind that since I’m not ordering these dishes off the menu, the names don’t always stick in my head. If I had a lot of experience with this food, I could write an amazing piece about Raja’s. But I’m going to just have to ask you to trust me on this one and go in and give them a shot — because if you love food like I do, you will be hooked.
